Lisle D. Eichenauer

Lisle D. Eichenauer, 88, of Celina, OH, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at the Laurels of Shane Hill, in Rockford.

Mr. Eichenauer was a graduate of Celina High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He farmed in Mercer County, OH, and had also worked in the carbon department of Reynolds & Reynolds, in Celina, for 25 years. He was a member of New Horizons Community Church, in Rockford, OH.

He was born March 1, 1926, in Mercer County, OH, to Roy and Ivy Albin Eichenauer. He married Dorothy L. Rhoades on Oct. 31, 1948, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 28, 1989.

Survivors include a son, Jerrold (Sue) Eichenauer, of Celina, OH; a daughter, Kathy (Mark) Mason, of Huntington; four grandchildren, Matt (Diana) Eichenauer, Amy (Scott) Steinbrunner, Bethany Mason and Andrew Mason; and four great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service following at 1:30 p.m., at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, 111 W. First St., Rockford, OH. Rev. Dave Souers will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, in Rockford, OH.
