Isabella F. Hosler, 99, of Columbia City, IN, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at 6:50 a.m. at Miller’s at Oak Pointe, in Columbia City.
Mrs. Hosler attended Jefferson Center High School and graduated from LaSalle University, in Chicago. She had worked at the Jefferson Center School. She was a member of Laud Christian Church, the Christian Women’s Fellowship at the church and Bethel Rebekah Lodge, in Laud.
She was born Aug. 23, 1915, in Jefferson Township, Whitley County, to Jess C. and Hazel Mae Snyder Nichols. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Garland Hollenbaugh, and her second husband, Lester V. Hosler.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen W. (Cheryl) Hollenbaugh and Ed J. (Sharon) Hollenbaugh, both of Columbia City; a sister, Pat Harshman, of Marion, KY; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Calling is Friday, March 6, 2015, from noon to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Rev. James Clifford will officiate. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, in Huntington County, beside her first husband.
