Paul P. 'Butch' Lamprecht Jr.

Paul P. “Butch” Lamprecht Jr., 68, of Andrews, IN, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 2:20 a.m. at Bethlehem Woods, in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Lamprecht was a veteran of the United States Navy and was affiliated with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2689, in Huntington. He worked in maintenance at the Dana Corporation for 32 years.

He was born Jan. 11, 1947, in Warsaw to Paul P. Sr. and Thelma Hutchison Lamprecht. His father survives in Andrews.

Additional survivors include a son, Jeff Lamprecht, of Huntington; two daughters, Sherri Umbaugh, of Indianapolis, and Amanda Lamprecht, of Andrews; two stepsons, David Ripplinger, of Arkansas, and Derek Ripplinger, of North Manchester; a sister, Patricia Williams, of Andrews; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Calling is Friday, April 3, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Deal-Rice Funeral Home Andrews Chapel. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Ray Seilhamer will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Andrews, with military honors conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2689, Huntington.
