Mary J. Falk

Mary Jane Falk, 86, a former resident of Bluffton, IN, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Heritage Pointe, in Warren.

Mrs. Falk retired from the Wells County Jail, where she had worked as a cook for 10 years. She had previously worked at Franklin Electric for 13 years and later Nowalk’s Progress.

She was born Feb. 26, 1929, in Wells County, to Charles and Margret McFarren Wilson.

She is survived by five children, Rita (Richard “Butch”) Mayer, Tracy Falk and Jim Falk, all of Bluffton; Kelli Merriman, of Ossian; and Lori (Ray) Angel, of Columbia City; a sister, Doris (Gerald) Lucas, of Warsaw; a brother, Roger (Markeeta) Wilson, of Bluffton; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, May 28, 2015, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St., Bluffton. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 29, 2015, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Larry Sprinkle will officiate. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton.
