Marlene A. Ellsworth

Marlene Arda Ellsworth, 68, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Ms. Ellsworth earned a Master of Library Science from Indiana University. She had worked as a librarian at the Huntington City-Township Public Library and spearheaded one of the first recycling programs in Huntington. She retired in 2000 from the Cadillac Wexford Public Library, in Cadillac, MI, where she had worked as a research librarian. She had also worked in the congressional office of Congressman J. Edward Roush, in Washington, DC, and was an editor for Army Magazine.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA, to T. Parker and Adra Thiry Ellsworth.

Survivors include two brothers, Timothy Ellsworth, of Fort Wayne, and Mark (Viann) Ellsworth, of New Haven.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 2 p.m., with calling two hours prior to the service, at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Ind.-930 East, New Haven.
