Mary Jane Flower

Mary Jane McNulty Flower, 81, of LaGrange, GA, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, June 27, 2015.

Mrs. Flower won the Miss Indiana title in 1956. She had lived in Atlanta, GA, before moving to LaGrange, GA.

She was born June 19, 1934, in Huntington to Joseph Patrick and Faye King McNulty. She married Eugene Edward Flower on July 6, 1957, in Yonkers, NY. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Donald John (Cydney Drew Courtice) Flower, of Suwanee, GA, and David Arthur Flower, of Marietta, GA; a daughter, Ann Marie Flower (Dr. Joseph P.) Monley, of LaGrange, GA; two sisters, Joalyce McNulty Rice, of Spokane, WA, and Elizabeth Ann McNulty Huhn, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; two brothers, Frederick Earl McNulty, of Fort Wayne, and Rev. Patrick Joseph McNulty, of Combermere, Ontario; and six grandchildren, Emily Courtice Flower, Cara Ann Flower and Hope Catherine Flower, all of Suwanee, GA; Killian Laurence (Griffin Elizabeth Hunt) Monley, of Charleston, SC; Connor Joseph Monley, of Athens, GA; and Kaley Nicole Flower, of Orlando, FL.

A private service was held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Shadowlawn Cemetery, in LaGrange, GA, with Rev. Patrick Sculley officiating.
