Russell Caley Jr.

Russell Caley Jr., 89, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at 8:32 p.m. at his home.

Mr. Caley delivered milk for Rosehill Dairy, in Bluffton; worked at Caswell-Runyan, in Huntington; and retired in 1996 as a forklift driver at the Kresge Warehouse, in Fort Wayne. He had also farmed in Huntington and Allen counties for the Darl and Steve Platt family. He was a member of St. Peter’s First Community Church, in Huntington.

He was born Nov. 18, 1925, in Huntington to Russell Sr. and Lydia Kahlenbeck Caley. He married Ada L. Miller on April 6, 1947, in Huntington, and she preceded him in death on Oct. 27, 2010.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Craig and Kathy (John) Myers, both of Huntington; a sister, Bonnie Hahn, of Andrews; three grandchildren, Michele Myers, Joseph Myers and Jason Craig; and five great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, from 3 p.m. to 7 pm. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Chaplain Forrest Tabor will officiate. Those unable to attend may view the service on the Bailey-Love channel at www.livestream.com. Burial will be at Sparks Cemetery, in Markle.
