Harold R. Crews

Harold Richard Crews, 67, of Cullman, AL, and formerly of Huntington County, IN, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Crews was a truck driver, and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 to 1962.

He was born May 4, 1941, in Norman, AR, to Wesley and Hazel Audrey Crews. His mother, of Amity, AR, and his wife, Margaret survive.

Also surviving are three sons, Steve (Cyndi) Crews and Mark (Jill) Crews, both of Huntington, and Darrell Crews, of Bluffton; a daughter, Vickie (Tony) Hammond, of Indianapolis; two stepsons, Jeremy (Jackie) Allred and Kevin Allred, both of Cullman, AL; a brother, Orville Crews, of Huntington; a sister, Mary Whisenhunt, of Amity, AR; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Cullman, AL, with Robert James officiating. Interment was in Johnson Grove Cemetery, in Bremen, AL.
