Dale W. "Billy" Jones, 49, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at 7:25 p.m. at the Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.

Mr. Jones had been employed by General Aluminum, Huntington, since 2004 and had previously been employed by Sterling Casting, Bluffton, for five years. He was a former resident of Bluffton and Roanoke and attended Portland High School.

He was born Oct. 28, 1960, in Jay County to James R. and Mabel Elnora Franks Jones. He married Anita M. Wherry on Oct. 26, 2001, in Portland. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include two stepsons, Jesse Singleton and Jason Singleton, both of Huntington; a brother, Perry Jones, of Little Salamonie; and his mother-in-law,Brenda Baumgardner, of Bluffton.

Calling is Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thoma/Rich, Chaney & Lemler Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St., Bluffton. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Richard Strick officiating. Cremation will follow and the ashes will be buried at a later date.
