Henry E. 'Eddie' DeHaven

Henry Edwin “Eddie” DeHaven, 60, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at 4:30 p.m. at Markle Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. DeHaven graduated from Village School, in Huntington, in 1973. He had been employed by Pathfinder Services, in Huntington, for many years and participated in Huntington County Special Olympics.

He was born Jan. 3, 1955, in Huntington to Henry A. and Doris Hedrick DeHaven.

Survivors include two sisters, Wanda (David) Spahr, of Warren, and Shirley (Charles) Ternet, of Marion; two brothers, Gene (Mary Lou) DeHaven, of Huntington, and Gary (Carole) DeHaven, of Lafayette; and a sister-in-law, Rochelle DeHaven, of Warren.

Calling is Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, in Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, at 1 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Charles Ternet will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Etna Cemetery, Huntington County.
