Orville R. "Brownie" Brown, 81, of Bluffton, IN, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at 8:45 a.m. at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Brown attended Wabash High School. He lived for 32 years in Minnesota, where he owned a resort and bowling alley. A resident of Wells County for 26 years, he served as groundskeeper of the Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton for 15 years.
He was born Aug. 14, 1928, in Wabash to Oliver R. and Mary Hodson Brown. He married Helen R. Brown in June 1983 in Huntington. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include a sister, Mrs. Raymond Fearnow, of Wabash.
There are no calling hours and no service. Mr. Brown's ashes will be scattered at Friends Cemetery, Wabash.
Preferred memorials are gifts to the Markle Fish and Game Club Park in Markle.
