Sarah Jane Ervin McCaughey, 73, of Oakland Park, FL, and a former resident of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010.

Mrs. McCaughey graduated from Huntington High School in 1954 and from the St. Joseph School of Nursing in 1957. She had worked as a nurse.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Anthony McCaughey; a son, Steven McCaughey; a daughter, Diane Krueger; two sisters, Shirley Ervin-Worth and Barbara Ervin-Cox; and three granddaughters, Nicolette, Christmas and Jessica.

A service will be held at a later date.

Baird, Case, Jordan and Fannin Funeral Home, Fort Lauderdale, FL, is in charge of arrangements.
