Robert E. "Bob" Wilkerson, 86, of Warren, IN, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at 9 p.m. at Bluffton Regional Medical Center in Bluffton.

Mr. Wilkerson was a graduate of Huntington schools. He served in the United States Navy as a gunner's mate. He also worked at General Motors in Marion, for 23 years, retiring in 1985.

He was born April 17, 1923, in Wells County to Eldo and Lillie O'Dier Wilkerson. He married Mary Rochelle on June 25, 1948, in Huntington; and she survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Zedra (Dennis) Miller, of Huntington County, and Dalaine (Ronald) Warner, of Wells County; three sons, Dault Wilkerson, of Wells County; Randy (Lana) Wilkerson, of Blackford County; and Taryl Wilkerson, of Huntington County; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

Calling is Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m funeral service, at Glancy H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Rev. Larry Harvey will officiate. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
