David D. Cox

David Dee Cox, 54, of rural Wabash, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at 7:45 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Cox, a 1980 graduate of Marion High School, had worked as a team leader at T.I. Automotive, in Ossian, for the past 10 years. He attended Jalapa Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of A.B.A.T.E. of Indiana.

He was born Nov. 12, 1961, in Marion to Larry Dee and Jenny Wilson Cox. His mother survives in Marion. He married Glenna Branson on July 18, 2002, in Huntington, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Benjamin Cox and Anthony Cox, both of Marion; a daughter, Crystal Gayle (Aaron) Lochard, of LaFontaine; a sister, Dawn Leann Cox, of Marion; two brothers, Donald Cox, of Marion, and Richard Cox, of Huntington; his parents-in-law, Jim and Sue Branson, of Wabash; and nine grandchildren.

A service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, in Wabash, with Rev. Bill Bowling and Rev. Charles Osborne officiating. Calling is Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, from 4 .m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, in Wabash.
