Raymond C. Huffman, 20, of Huntington, died Thursday Jan. 21, 2010, at 12:05 a.m. of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Wells County.

Mr. Huffman was a 2008 graduate of Huntington North High School and was a full-time student at Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne. He was employed by Papa John's Pizza in Huntington and worked at the campground gate at Kilsoquah State Recreation Area in Huntington. He attended Bethel Assembly of God in Huntington.
He was a former member of the Huntington County Wrestling Club, played Huntington County Baseball and played football and wrestled at Huntington North High School.

He was born Sept. 5, 1989, in Bluffton to Richard and Cheryl Juergens Huffman. His parents survive in Huntington.

Additional survivors include two brothers, Joshua J. Huffman and Karl A. Huffman, both of Huntington; a sister, Megan E. Huffman, of Huntington; his grandparents, George (Judy) Juergens, of Huntington; Jim (Regina) Huffman, of Petroleum; and Anna Huffman, of Bluffton; and a great-grandfather, Roger Huffman, of Bluffton.

A service was held Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at at Bethel Assembly of God,  Huntington, with Dr. John Backes officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.

Pallbearers were Tyler Harris, Paul Sunday, Seth Houser, Brandon Juergens, Troy Bost, Jon Romero, Jonathan Huffman and Joshua Huffman.
