Betty Ann Turner, 70, of Van Buren, IN, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Colonial Oaks Health Care Center in Marion.

Mrs. Turner worked as a cook for Marion City Schools, and for a while at the Wesleyan Nursing Home in Marion. She was a member of the Van Buren American Legion Auxiliary, of Van Buren.

She was born July 3, 1939, in Marion to Everett and Aletha Alice (Kem) Rust.

Surviving are four sons, Max Turner, of Van Buren; Mark H. (Kathy) Turner and Donald P. Turner, both of Marion; and Richard B. Turner, of Warsaw; a brother, Philip E. (Donna) Rust, of Marion; a sister, Dorothy Doyle, of Marion; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral home, 201 W. Main St.,Van Buren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Will Shelor officiating. Interment will be in the Gardens of Memory in Marion.
