Goldie Middleton

Goldie Middleton, 84, of Lincolnville, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at 1:40 p.m. at her home.

Mrs. Middleton worked at Miller’s Merry Manor, Manor Care, for 13 years. She was raised in the Baptist church.

She was born Jan. 24, 1932, in McDowell, KY, to Henry and Liza Mann Blevins. She married William E. Middleton in Wabash on Aug. 4, 1950, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 5, 2010.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda L. (Ron) Rife, of Peru, and Wanda K. Smith, of Wabash; two sons, William R. (Sharon) Middleton and Jerry J. (Colleen) Middleton, both of Wabash; two brothers, Gary (Diana) Walters, of Grant County, and Charles Blevins, of Kentucky; three sisters, Tina Goble, Marie Maples and Erma Blevins, all of Kentucky; and 11 grandchildren, Chad Rife, Scott (Lisa) Rife, Aaron (Misty) Rife, April (Garrett) Rentschler, Jason Middleton, Olivea Middleton, C.J. (Vicki) Bone and Jennifer Martin, all of Wabash; Austin Middleton, of Kokomo; and Adam (Kristina) Middleton and Caleb Smith, both of Huntington.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Center Grove Cemetery, Lincolnville.

Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, was in charge of arrangements.
