Cecile G. Kirchner, 104, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Roanoke, IN, died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Coventry Meadows, in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Kirchner was a homemaker and had been an Avon representative for more than 50 years. She was a member of Aboite Missionary Church, a 51-year member of the Allen County Chorus and a former 4-H club leader.
She was born Nov. 11, 1911, in Adams County to Milton and Clara Edgell. She married Otto Kirchner, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Merlin Kirchner, of Roanoke; two daughters, Claire A. McMinn, of Roanoke, and Shirley H. Bradbury, of Parrish, FL; a brother, Fred Edgell, of Monroeville; 12 grandchildren; numerous stepgrandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Decatur Cemetery, 1824 W. Monroe St., Decatur.
