Esther M. Snyder

Esther M. Snyder, 79, of Warsaw, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Grace Village, where she had been a resident since 2011.

Ms. Snyder attended Clear Creek School and graduated from Bippus High School. She had worked at Blue Bell, in Warsaw; Peabody ABC, in Winona Lake; and the American Red Cross, in Warsaw. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and attended Celebration United Methodist Church, in Warsaw.

She was born Aug. 7, 1936, in Huntington to Harry and Emma Rupley Snyder.

Survivors include a son, Brian (Robin) Snyder, of Warsaw; three brothers, Edward Snyder, of Huntington; Richard Snyder, of Muskegon, MI; and John Snyder, of Leesburg; two sisters, Virginia Doenges, of South Whitley, and JoAnn Byers, of Warsaw; a grandson, Adam (Stacy) Snyder, of Warsaw; and three great-granddaughters.

Calling is Friday, May 6, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with a service following at 3 p.m., at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley. Burial will be at South Whitley Cemetery.
