Lucille O. Pinkerton

Lucille O. Pinkerton, 92, of Warren, died Monday, May 23, 2016, at 6:25 p.m. at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Mrs. Pinkerton was a 1942 graduate of Monument City High School. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at Marion General Hospital, retiring in 1973. She was a member of the Mt. Etna United Methodist Church as wells as the United Methodist Women’s group.

She was born Jan. 5, 1924, in Huntington to Cameron and Imo Watson DeHaven. She married Noble G. Pinkerton on July 20, 1945. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors are two daughters, Claudia Rosa (Cliff) Bouchey, of Bluffton, and Connie (Steve) Craw, of Gas City; five grandchildren, Teresa (Shawn) Scott, of Fairmount; Steve Dailey, of Plainfield; Sheila (Brian) Cook, of Gas City; Shanna (Jason) Parsley, of Avon; and Hazel Hemmer of Silverton, OR; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Applegate Chapel at Heritage Pointe, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dick Case officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery.
