Anna Stump

Anna Stump, 83, of Pierceton, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Friday, July 8, 2016, at 9:15 a.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Stump retired from Da-Lite Screen Inc., in Warsaw, where she had worked for 26 years. She was the co-owner of Stump’s Mobile Home Court. She was a member of First Baptist Church and of several Kosciusko County home economics clubs. She graduated from South Whitley High School in 1950.

She was born Oct. 30, 1932, in Cleveland Township, Whitley County, to Frank and Martha Speicher Austin. She married Amos Stump on Nov 11, 1950, in South Whitley, and he preceded in her death on Aug. 28, 1988.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Tom) Kelch, of Pierceton, and Sherry Stewart, of Los Angeles, CA; four sons, Chester (Susan) Stump, of Warsaw; Ronald (Karen) Stump, of Columbia City; and Thomas (Carrie) Stump and Mark (Christina) Stump, both of Pierceton; two brothers, William Austin, of South Whitley, and Jerry (Carol) Austin, of Huntington; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, July 12, 2016, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. A service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Mark Fishburn officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, in Pierceton.
