Maxine D. Stouder

Maxine D. Stouder, 93, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at 7:12 p.m. at her home.

Mrs. Stouder graduated from Monument City High School. She was a homemaker and had worked at Wolf and Dessauer, in Fort Wayne. She also taught Sunday school.

She was born Nov. 15, 1922, in Huntington to Frank and Erma Klingman Bugher. She married Philip A. Stouder, and he preceded her in death on April 29, 2014, after 72 years of marriage.

Survivors include a daughter, Sondra S. (Guy) Carter, of Columbia, MO; a brother, Richard F. Bugher, of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Kristine (David) Owsley, of Independence, MO, and Brent (Erin) Carter, of Chelsea, MI; and nine great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with a service following at 3 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington. David Owsley will officiate. Those unable to attend may view the service on the Bailey-Love Mortuary channel at www.livestream.com. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, in Andrews.
