Bridget B. Ganey

Bridget B. Ganey, 49, of Boonville, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at 12:18 a.m. at St. Mary's Medical Center, Evansville, of injuries suffered in a two-car crash in Warrick County.

Ms. Ganey had managed the Huntington Applebee's restaurant for 9 years and served as manager of the Wendy's restaurants in Huntington and Marion for 18 years. She had recently returned to school to study for a career in social work. She was a 1978 graduate of Blackford High School and studied at the University of Southern Indiana.

She was born May 1, 1960, in Oak Park, IL, to Harry J. and Lanie Bates Ganey. Her mother survives in Battle Creek, MI.

Additional survivors include three sons, Justin Nye, of Evansville; Bryce Forth and Taylor Forth, both of Van Buren; and eight sisters, Kathy (Peter) Sullivan, of Fort Salonga, NY; Maureen (Emmett) Bogdon and Barbara (Don) Shown, both of Fort Wayne; Mary (Tracy) Long, of West Palm Beach, FL; Patti (Ron) Benedict, of Avilla; Elly (Nestor) Ramos, of Mastic, NY; and Monica Boucher and Maggy (Tim) Oesterreich, both of Battle Creek, MI.

Calling is Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Saturday, Feb. 20 2010, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
