Ronald D. Blair

Ronald D. Blair, 79, of Warren, IN, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, at 5:15 p.m. at Heritage Pointe, in Warren.

Mr. Blair was the owner and operator of Blair Excavating for many years. A 1955 graduate of Warren High School, he was a member of the Warren Area Antique Tractor Club and had been a member of the former Buckeye Christian Church.

He was the son of Paul E. and Viola M. Green Blair. He married Norene A. Vickrey on June 2, 1957, at Buckeye Christian Church, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 23, 1998.

Survivors include a son, Richard Blair, of Warren; three daughters, Lesa Salomon, Linda (Kevin) Park and Mary Alice Van Vliet, all of Warren; a brother, Darrell G. (Margaret) Blair, of Florida; a sister, Jean Dunphy, of Colorado Springs, CO; three grandchildren, Kristin A. (Scott) Flanagan, Kraig A. (Misty) Salomon and Tyler J. Park, all of Warren; and two great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Gerald Moreland will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Warren.
