Nadia Toscos

Nadia Toscos, 92, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at The Heritage of Huntington.

Mrs. Toscos was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Fort Wayne, and the church's Philoptochos Society. She served as district treasurer of the Daughters of Penelope for three years and was the organization's Woman of the Year in 1993.

She was born Jan. 31, 1917, in Fort Wayne to Christ and Sophia Yovan. She married James G. Toscos, who preceded her in death in 1984.

Survivors include a son, Michael (Beth) Toscos, of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Zorana (Jim) Luellen, of Fort Wayne, and Victoria Moring, of Huntington; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

A service was held Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Fort Wayne, with Rev. Paul Bebis officiating. Burial was at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
