Paul H. Weaver, 72, of Van Buren, IN, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at 11:17 a.m. at Marion General Hospital in Marion, IN.
Mr. Weaver was a graduate of Walnut Grove High School. He retired from General Motors Fisher Body in 2010 after 30 years of service.
He was a member of the Fisher Body Sympathy Club, United Auto Workers, Van Buren American Legion Post 368 and the Indiana National Guard Tipton Unit. He was also a member of the Marion Bowling Association Hall of Fame and the Grant County USBC, where he served as vice president.
He was born on Aug. 2, 1944, in Noblesville to Robert and Rose Schubert Weaver. He married Dianna J. Bennett on Feb. 19, 1967, and she survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Todd A. Weaver, of Hartford City, IN; a daughter, Chanda (Terry) Nail, of Springhill, LA; a sister, Shelly Thomson, of Michigan; a brother, Eldon Weaver, of Florida; and five grandchildren.
Calling is Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Van Buren. A service will be held on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Heath Jones officiating. Interment will be at Grant Memorial Park, in Marion.
