Julia E. Reeves, 88, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 11:25 p.m. at University Park Health and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Reeves was a homemaker, She had also worked as a nurse's aide at Huntington Memorial Hospital for six years and for Dolby Dry Cleaners in Huntington. She attended Northview Church of Christ and was a member of Order of Eastern Star Floral Chapter 75, both in Huntington.

She was born Nov. 12, 1921, in Richvalley to Marion A. and Tina Hartleroad Marks. She married Harold E. Reeves on Nov. 12, 1939, in Huntington. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Barbara D'Amelio, of Florida, and Wilma Lighthill, of Denver, CO; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, March 8, 2010, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service following at 1 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. Rev. Del Hamon will officiate. Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.
