Patricia R. Sober, 85, of Huntington, IN, and formerly of Alpena, MI, died Thursday March 4, 2010, at 7:05 a.m. at Tipton House, Huntington.

Mrs. Sober was a homemaker, and member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Alpena.

She was born Oct. 13, 1924, in Alpena, MI, to Enoch and Florence Meharg Chapleski. She married Alfred Sober in Alpena on Nov. 11, 1950, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 1964.

She is survived by a son, Rick (Rose) Sober, of Huntington; a brother, Dr. John Chapleski, of Flushing, MI; and three grandchildren, Jonathan Sober, David Sober and Angela Sober, all of Huntington.

Calling is Wednesday, March 10. 2010, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a service at 6:30 p.m., at Deal-Rice Funeral Home-Huntington Chapel, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington, with Rev. John Pfister officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Alpena, MI.
