Kenneth D. Whitesell

Kenneth David Whitesell, 59, of Andrews, IN, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, a 11:59 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Whitesell graduated from Huntington North High School in 1976 and served in the United States Army. He worked in maintenance for Goodwill and volunteered at the American Red Cross for 20 years. He was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Huntington.

He was born Nov. 15, 1957, in Findlay, OH, to Robert D. and Ruth Ann Grindahl Whitesell. His parents survive in Huntington.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Tiffany J. Higginbotham, of Andrews, and Amanda (James) Curry, of Huntington; three sisters, Kathryn D. Whitesell, of Huntington; Pamela Ann Mollette, of South Bend; and Judith (Doug) Thornburgh, of Andrews; eight grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Calling is Wednesday, March 1, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a service following at 11 a.m., at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 648 N. LaFontaine St., Huntington. Rev. Timothy Lorenz will officiate. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, in Huntington County at a later date.
