Rose Marie Wolford, 71, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Wolford was a driver and arranged transportation for the V.A. Hospital for 10 years.

She was born Sept. 12, 1938, in Fort Wayne to Floyd A. and Wilma L. Cromwell Engel. She married Allen C. Wolford, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Daniel L. Clark, of Huntington; Patrick W. Clark, of Fort Wayne; and Raymond J. Shugars, of Hicksville, OH; a brother, Donald (Nancy) Cromwell, of Waco, TX; two sisters, W. Ann (Keith) Balliet, of Avilla; and Doris (David) Sharts, of Crossville, TN; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A service will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 3 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are gifts to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
