Nellie E. Bomersback, 93, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 6:22 a.m. at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Mrs. Bomersback graduated from Wadena High School and St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis, She was a registered nurse and owned Frank's Superette in Andrews. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington.

She was born July 16, 1916, in Lochielto Joe and Anna Funk Stone. She married Frank J. Bomersback on June 16, 1941, in Fowler. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1985.

Survivors include a son, Tom Bomersback, of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Patricia (David) Lundquist, of Fort Wayne, and Jane (Roger) Speicher, of Wabash; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was held Friday, March 12,2010, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, with Rev. Ron Rieder officiating. Burial was at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.

Casketbearers were Dave Bomersback, Scott Springer, Jacob Speicher, Andy Speicher, Virgil Mikel and Jim Brennan.

Preferred memorials are gifts to SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for Masses or to the National Arthritis Foundation in care of Deal-Rice Funeral Home, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington, IN 46750.
