Helen Frances "Francie" Roberts, 88, of Nooksack, WA, and a former resident of Huntington County, IN, died Friday, March 5, 2010.

Mrs. Roberts was a graduate of Clear Creek High School and had attended the Clear Creek Church of the Brethren. She was a 60-year member of the Nooksack Christian Fellowship Church, where she was a soloist and choir member.

She was born Nov. 17, 1921, in Tyner (Marshall County) to Harry and Mary Pulley. She married Kenneth Roberts in June 1944. Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie and Patricia; a sister, Hazel (Evan) Wright; three grandchildren, Stacey Bayles, Jennifer (Rob) Foster and Timothy Cowin; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held March 11, 2010, at Greenacres Moles Memorial Park, Ferndale, WA, with a memorial service at Nooksack Christian Fellowship Church, Nooksack, WA.

Preferred memorials are gifts to Whatcom Hospice or Nooksack Christian Fellowship Church.
