Max E. Kinsey

Max E. Kinsey, 85, of Markle, IN, died Saturday, April 15, 2017, at 5:36 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Kinsey was a graduate of Rockcreek High School. He served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1953, during the Korean War. He was retired from General Motors, in Marion, where he had worked for 37 years. He was a member of Markle United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Markle.

He was born May 12, 1931, in Uniondale to Carl and Dortha Elsey Kinsey. He married Connie Breedon in 1953, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Bruce Kinsey, of Plainfield, and Brad (Sandy) Kinsey, of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Paul (Joyce) Kinsey, of Florida; Roger (Ellen) Kinsey, of Fishers; and Neil (Joy) Kinsey, of Markle; a sister, Jean Mossburg, of Markle; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

There is no calling or service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
