Linda S. Robrock

Linda S. Robrock, 80, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at 4:10 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Robrock was a 1955 graduate of Huntington High School.  She owned and operated the Affordable Shoppe, known as “the Barn” for years.  She was a Sunday school teacher for the Church of Christ for many years, where she drove the vacation Bible school bus.

She was born Dec. 4, 1936, in Huntington to Wilbur and Lilly Hull Miller. She was married to Lynn Robrock on Aug. 21, 1955, in Huntington. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include six daughters, Kathy Tanner and Jill Martin, both of Huntington; Victoria Piedmont, of Bluffton; Jan Akins, of Chattanooga, TN; Laurie (Kevin) Wolfe, of Franklin, TN; and Tamera (Phil) Conner, of Rochester Hills, MI; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery.
