Rosemary B. Royer

Rosemary Beatrice Royer, 86, of Winona Lake, IN, and having ties to Monument City, IN, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017.

Mrs. Royer graduated from Monument City High School in 1948 and attended Manchester College. She served with New Tribes Mission in Brazil for 43 years.

She was born April 7, 1931, in Perkins County, SD, to C.M. and Beatrice Gooding Smith. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Royer.

Additional survivors include five daughters, Betty (Tim) Wyma, Priscilla (Larry) Case, Jean (Bill) Wiederhoeft, Faith (Phil) Schlatter and Martha (Terry) Haines; two sons, Dan (Becky) Royer and Ben (Karen) Royer; two sisters, Celia Shankster and Harriet Askew; four brothers, Gordon Smith, Curtis Smith, Paul Smith and Edgar Smith; 25 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind.-114 West, North Manchester. A service will be held on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Manchester Bible Church, 11721N-300E, North Manchester. Burial will be at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
