Cynthia R. Bonham

Cynthia Rose Bonham, 79, of Warren, IN, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at 3:55 p.m. at Heritage Pointe of Warren.

Mrs. Bonham graduated from Warren High School in 1955 and attended Huntington College for two years. She worked at Heritage Pointe as activities coordinator for 34 years.

She was a longtime member of the Warren Church of Christ, a member of Tri Kappa in Warren, a former Tri Kappa state officer and a member of the Salamonie Summer Festival committee for several years.

She was born Oct. 5, 1937, in Huntington County to Dale C. and Esther I. Ware Wiley. She married R.J. Myers on July 15, 1956, and he preceded her in death on April 20, 1963. She married Richard Bonham on Feb. 20, 1966, at the Warren Church of Christ, and he survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Rose Ann Carroll, of Huntington; a daughter-in-law, Lana Myers, of Warren; a sister, Karen (Steve) Herr, of Warren; six grandchildren, Leslie Snively, of Glenview, IL; Lindsey Rose Blinn, of Warren; Haley Leon, of North Manchester; Wesley Carroll, of Columbia City; and Amy Vance and Kelsey Ann Hayes, both of Fort Wayne; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Warren Church of Christ, in Warren. A service will be held at the church on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Ethan Stivers and Gerald Moreland will officiate. Interment will be at Thompson Home Cemetery, in Warren.
