Drake S. Goetz, 15, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at 10:10 p.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Drake attended Canterbury High School, where he played soccer and was part of the 2017 Canterbury state championship team. He attended Life Church, in Huntington.
He was born Dec. 8, 2001, in Fort Wayne and is survived by his parents, Robert (Megan) Goetz, of Fort Wayne, and Shelli Hoffer-Goetz, of Huntington.
Additional survivors include a sister, Josie Goetz, of Fort Wayne; a brother, Alec Goetz, of Huntington; three stepsisters, Kelsey Collins, of Noblesville; Codie Collins, of Little Rock, AR; and Kendra Collins, of Fort Wayne; paternal grandparents, Joy and Neil Kinsey, of Huntington; Al and Cheri Collins, of Fort Wayne; and Jackie Hornic, of Pittsburgh, PA; maternal grandparents, Mark and Beth Hoffer and Jean and Phil Pasko, all of Huntington; and a great-grandmother, Esther Stahly, of North Manchester.
Calling is Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Rd., Fort Wayne. A service will be held at the church on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Mike Hill will officiate. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Huntington County.
