Lloyd T. Driscoll

Lloyd T. Driscoll, 87, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at 7 a.m. at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Driscoll graduated from Urbana High School in 1949 and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He had been a machinist at Memcor in Huntington and Hower Tool in Ossian.  He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Council 1014 Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post 15 in Wabash.
 
He was born Dec. 26, 1929, in Wabash County to Clay and Mary Caughlin Driscoll.  He married Norma Foltz on July 12, 1952 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Lagro, and she survives.

Also surviving are five sons, David C. (Tammy) Driscoll, of Dothan, AL;, John B. (Jackie) Driscoll, of Warsaw; Andrew P. Driscoll, of Fort Wayne; Brian D. (Linda) Driscoll, of Bryan, OH; and Mark E. (Lisa) Driscoll, of Huntington; a sister, Rita Driscoll, of Dayton, OH; 10 grandchildren; and  seven great-grandchildren.
 
Calling is Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with rosary service at 6:30 p.m., at Deal-Rice Funeral Home-Huntington Chapel. Calling will also be held Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, for one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Mass at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Tony Steinacker officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, with graveside military honors provided by the American Legion.
 
Preferred memorials are for masses at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church or Catholic school tuition in care of Deal-Rice Funeral Home, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington, IN 46750.
