Arliss Jean Drabenstot, 94, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at Oakbrook Village, in Huntington.
Mrs. Drabenstot served in the United States Navy. She was a homemaker. She was also a member of the First Church of Nazarene, Huntington.
She was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Kokomo, to Warren J. and Anna Butler Hiatt-Hethcote. She married George G. Drabenstot on Jan. 14, 1947, in Fort Wayne. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1997.
Survivors include six daughters, Patty (Santos) Villanueva, of Huntington; Barbara Lehman, of Lakeland, FL; Sandra Thompson and Carol Reed, both of Cromwell; Julia (Mike) Pequignot, of Ligonier; and Ruth (Charles) Fair, of Lake Hills, TX; a son, David Drabenstot, of Huntington; two brothers, Max (Luella) Hethcote and Merritt Hethcote, both of Huntington; a sister, Janice (John) Kellam, of Mt. Etna; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11 a.m., at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
