Gary L. Brinneman

Gary L. Brinneman, 82, of Andrews, IN, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at 9:35 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Brinneman graduated from Jefferson Township High School in 1953. He served in the United States Army. He retired in 1994 from Fisher Body, a division of General Motors in Marion, after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Mt. Etna Masonic Lodge.
 
He was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Cleveland, OH,  to Leroy and Nellie Brinneman. He married Linda Close on Aug. 24, 1956, in Huntington. She preceded him in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Lori L. (Scott) Dreamer, of Bristol, and Kimberly L. (Thomas) Wingo, of Huntington; a son, Steven L. Brinneman, of Anderson; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Purviance, Amanda Ochoa, Melody Powell, Adam Brinneman, Taylor Purviance, Brook Brinneman, Celsey Brinneman, Chad Wingo, Austin Dreamer, and Alexx Dreamer; and seven great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington, with a funeral service to follow immediately following. Rev. Kellie Herber will officiate and military rites will be performed by VFW Post 2689. Burial will be in Andrews Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
