Dale E. Fox

Dale E. Fox, 88, of Bluffton, IN, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017, in Bluffton.

Mr. Fox worked as a senior contract administrator with ITT for 34 years, retiring in 1990. He was a past member of Colony Heights Church of Christ and most recently attended Markle Church of Christ. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War on the USS Norris and the USS Fred T. Berry. He was also a member of Gideons International, and he taught Bible class at the Wells County Jail.

He was born in Fort Wayne to Maurice and Carolotta J. Fox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth.

Surviving are five sons, Yancy E. (Andrea) Fox, of Louisville, CO; Mark A. (Teresa) Fox, and Patrick J. Fox, both of Bluffton; Dale E. Fox, of Maine; and Allen R. Fox, of New Hampshire; three daughters, Alanna S. McGhee, of Fort Wayne; Sharon R. (Ray) Pacheco, of Massachusetts; and Carol A. (Mark) Baker, of Cape Cod, MA; a sister, Ellen K. Fox, of Fort Wayne; 24 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. A celebration of Dale and Ruth Fox’s lives is Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Markle Church of Christ, 455 E. Morse St.
