George E. 'Buddy' Willey Jr.

George E. ”Buddy” Willey Jr., 53, of Markle, IN died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at his home.

Mr. Willey was a diesel mechanic all of his life and worked side by side with his father for many years. He worked most recently for ALL-Terrain Conversions in Markle.

He was born Sept. 20, 1964, in Baltimore, MD, to George E. Sr. and Carolyn A. Willey. His mother survives in Goose Creek, SC. He was married to Jennifer Roe Willey, who survives.

Additional survivors include four sons, George E. (Megan) Willey III, of Bridgeville DE; Nicholas (Amy) Willey, of Elkton, MD; Justin (Amanda) Willey, of Maine; and Maximus Willey, of Markle; a daughter, Amy (Kent) Glasco, of Dover, DE; four step-children, Kayla Patrick, Cassidy Patrick, Lona Patrick and Randy Patrick III, all of Markle; four sisters, Cheryl Willey, Susan (Kevin) Bradley and Sandy (Kevin) Dorman, all of Federalsburg MD, and Tammy (Woody) Murphy, of Greenwood DE; and eight grandchildren.

Mr. Willey’s request was to have his body donated to science for cancer research.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 1 p.m. at New Liberty Wesleyan Church, 28414 Bridgeville Rd., Federalsburg, MD, with calling held one hour before the service. A separate memorial service will likely be held in Markle at a later date to be determined.
