Sister Rosanne Palmer, OLVN

Sister Rosanne Palmer, OLVM, 102, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Saint Anne's Community at Victory Noll, Huntington.

Sister Palmer graduated with a Master of Social Work from St. Louis University in 1952.  She worked in the field of child social services in several states, including Hawaii and Colorado, before entering the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on Aug. 15, 1983.  She made first vows on Aug. 3, 1985, and continued to use her training in social work in Tucson, AZ, before she returned to Victory Noll in 2001.

She was born Feb. 9, 1916, in Cleveland, OH, to Randall and Margaret Powers Palmer.  

A Vigil Service will be held Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at 4 p.m. at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, Saint Anne's at Victory Noll, 25 Victory Noll Drive, Huntington. A
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., at the chapel with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Victory Noll Cemetery, Huntington.
