Clair Lee Lynn, 74, of Lagro, died Monday, March 19, 2018, at 9:52 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital.
Mr. Lynn graduated from Urbana High School in 1961. He was a farmer, worked for Wabash County ASCS (FSA) and was a crop loss adjuster for Federal Crop Insurance and several private companies, including John Deere Insurance. He did volunteer work for the Gene Stratton-Porter Hopewell Foundation. He was a member of St. Paul’s County Line Church.
In June 1992, he received an administrator’s award for service in agriculture for distinguished individual achievement in the ASCS and FCIC from the United States Department of Agriculture.
He was born June 16, 1943, in Huntington County to Ralph H. and Mary Lucile Rudig Lynn.
He is survived by a sister, Barbara Lynn, of Lagro.
Calling is Friday, March 23, 2018, from noon to 2 p.m. preceding the 2 p.m. funeral service at St. Paul’s County Line Church, Andrews. Rev. Conrad Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s County Line Cemetery.
