Sister Delores Tringl

Sister Delores Tringl, OLVM, 91, died April 5, 2018, at Saint Anne's Community at Victory Noll, Huntington.

Sister Tringl entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on Oct. 27, 1949, and made first vows on Aug. 5, 1952.  She served in the missions in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Missouri, Indiana and Arizona. She was part of the leadership by serving as an area coordinator from 1980 to 1984 and then in 2001 to 2003 she served as general secretary.  She ministered in the Diocesan Religious Education Office in the Diocese of Kansas City/St. Joseph, MO, and then served as the director of the office of religious for the Diocese of Phoenix. She retired in 2012 as a chaplain at University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ, where she had served since 2004.

She was born Oct. 20, 1926, in St. Louis, MO,  to Martin and Mary Catherine Krieger Tringl.

Her parents and her only sister, Marcella Tringl all precede her in death. 

A Vigil Service will be held Friday April 6, 2018, at 7 p.m., at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, Saint Anne's at Victory Noll, 25 Victory Noll Drive. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior, Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, Saint Anne's at Victory Noll.
Burial will be at Victory Noll Cemetery.
