Deloris J. 'Dolly' Harrell

Deloris Jean "Dolly" Harrell, 81, of Wabash, IN, and having family in Huntington County IN, died Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 7:45 p.m. at her daughter's home in Urbana.

Mrs. Harrell was a 1955 graduate of Noble High School. She worked at Wabash Magnetics for 30 years, retiring in 1998. She was a longtime member of the Wabash Church of God.

She was born Aug. 8, 1936, in Greenup County, KY, to Andrew and Lucy Caudill Shepherd, who died shortly after. She was then raised by stepmother, Blanche Shepherd. She married Dickie Harrell in Wabash County on Sept. 18, 1954, and he survives.

Additonal survivors are two sons, Walter (Monica) Harrell, of Roanoke, and James Harrell, of Lagro; six daughters, Frances (Ed) Napier, of Urbana; Tina (Phill) Eakright and Lisa Schoener, both of Wabash; Lori (Dennis) McCune; of Cochranton, PA; Susan (Jon) Kramer, of Huntington; and Christina Harrell, of Marion; three brothers, Bill Shepherd, of Wabash; Brice Shepherd of Rockford, IL; and Randy Shepherd, of Wabash; a sister, Rosie Caldwell, of Kendallville; 19 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Harrell, and a daughter-in-law, Charlene Harrell.

Calling is Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. A funeral service will be Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 1 p.m. at with the funeral home, with Rev. Robb Rensberger officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash.

Memorials are to the Wabash First Church of God Building Fund.
