Kieth O. 'KO' Krieg

Kieth Otto “KO” Krieg, of Fort Wayne, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Ashton Creek in Fort Wayne.

He was a retired railroad engineer with Erie-Lackawanna & Conrail of 39 years. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the Freemasons, American Legion 82, Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge.

He was born Nov. 22, 1926, in Huntington to Wilbert A. and Hazel L. Krieg. His wife, Yvonne, preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Kevin D. Krieg of Portland, OR; two daughters, Jessica (Ira) Lebowitz, of Herriman, UT, and Kacy Krieg, of Blowing Rock, NC; two stepdaughters, Angela (Ryan) Polk, of Villa Park, CA, and Melissa "Missy" Newman, of Fisher; a brother, Paul (Joan) Krieg, of Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren, Ari Lebowitz, Joshua Linekin, Patrick Polk and Mitchel Polk.

He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Karen (Parker) Lineken.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's First Community Church, 206 Etna Ave., Huntington.
