Deloris Snoke

Deloris Snoke, 88, of Roanoke, IN, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at 11:57 a.m. at her home.

Mrs. Snoke graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1947. She and her husband co-owned Snoke Feed Mill in Roanoke for many years and she also farmed with her husband on their Clear Creek Township farm. She also worked in administration at Huntington College and prepared personal taxes from her home.

She was born Oct. 18, 1929, in Union Township, Huntington County, to Thelma Hoover. She married Arthur “Bill” Snoke on March 26, 1962, in Roanoke, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2001.

Survivors include a son, Danny (Barbara) Hughes, of Roanoke; a daughter, Fanchon Rodenberger, of Palm Bay, FL; four grandchildren, Amber Brost, Jamie Rudicel, Linda (Steven) Leialoah, of Sebring, FL; and Steve (Kathy) Rodenberger, of Huntington; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, from 10 a.m. to noon at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A funeral service will immediately follow at noon at the mortuary, with Rev. Raymond Scribner officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Chapel Cemetery in Huntington County.
