Clifford Hopkins

Clifford Hopkins, 82, of Huntington, IN, died on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at 3:40 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Hopkins was a graduate of Elwood High School and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree.  He was a carpenter/millwright.

He was born May 13, 1936, in Fort Harrison, to Virgil C. and Helen Stewart Hopkins.  He married Norma Trissin on Dec.12, 1992, and she survives.

Additional survivors are four daughters, Roma S. (Ron) Noffsinger, of Shelbyville; Rona J. Gordon, of Marion; Reginna L. (Troy) Curry, of Huntington; and Angela K. Hopkins, of LaFontaine; three sons, Clifford A. Hopkins, of Fayetteville, NC; Randy L. Hopkins; and Michael D. Hopkins, of South Bend; 30 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, Sept, 14, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. A Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept.15, 2018, at noon at Church of God of Prophecy, 906 N. 10th St., Gas City.  Additional visitation is one hour prior to the service. Rev. David Morris will be officiating. Entombment will take place at a later date in Gardens of Memory.
