Paul A. 'Tony' Briner

Paul A. "Tony" Briner, 48, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family in Roanoke, IN, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Briner worked as a diesel mechanic for Bell Equipment Services in Garrett. He served honorably in the United States Navy and was a member of American Legion Post 330 in New Haven, being the sergeant at arms for the Legion Riders and Mad Anthony Hog Chapter.

He was born in Greenfield to Ron and Cheryl Sides, and they survive in Albion.

Additional survivors include a son, Charles "C.J." Briner, of Roanoke; a daughter, Sara Briner, of Arizona; and two sisters, Angela Collis, of Albion, and Judy (Mark) Medler, of Waterloo.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 12, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., with one hour of calling prior to the service.

Memorials are to the Disabled Veterans or Safe Haven.
